"Extended Returns Policy" Terms & Conditions:

Customers who purchase items at the CAOS retail store (2/151 Robinson Rd East, Geebung) or Online ( between the 25th of November 2022 and the 25th of December 2022 will qualify for our extended returns policy – customers who qualify for the extended returns policy will have 30 days (extended from 14 days) to return items that meet the terms and conditions provided in our standard returns and refunds policy.


Your COMPLETE satisfaction is our goal, we want you to be happy with your shopping experience and the products we sell.

We are consumers ourselves and we know there may be times you may need to return a purchase. If you find yourself in this rare and inconvenient position, we hope you find our policies are written to assist you.

Australian Consumer Law protects your basics rights. However, we are sure you’ll find we have gone above and beyond to provide additional benefits detailed in our Returns Policy.


What can be returned and when by?

For the first 14 days, we offer a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee on every product. If you’re not happy with your purchase, return it with the original undamaged packaging (including manuals and accessories) for a full refund. You will need to pay the postage / shipping costs associated with returning or exchanging your item/s.

We also offer free extended warranties for CAOS CREW Members on most products ranging from 2 years to Lifetime, check your receipt for details.

Where do I return product/s and what information do I need to supply?

Store purchase/s must be returned to the store with proof of purchase.

Online purchase/s can be returned with proof of purchase to the store during business hours or posted to:

To my return product/s, what will I need to provide?

Proof of purchase, the product/s receipt.


  • Take a photo of the receipt at the time of purchase and place it somewhere safe.
  • Registering your product/s warranty within 30 days of purchase has benefits, your purchase information will be kept online and you may find your product is eligible for an extended warranty.
  • Your item/s MUST be in original condition and saleable.


What is not accepted as proof of purchase?

A dollar amount on a bank or credit card statement will not be accepted.


For a refund what do I need to supply?

The credit or debit card you used for purchase so we can credit back your refund.

Valid Photo ID e.g. driver licence with photo, your name, address and signature.


Can I return product/s without a receipt?

Yes, but only if you had registered your product/s warranty online within 30 days of purchase. We will need CREW Membership details (our membership system keeps purchase information for 12 months)

What if my product/s are faulty or damaged during shipping?

If you believe your item has arrived faulty or has been damaged during shipping, please email us at or call us on 1300 646 603 and provided your order information and photos of the fault or damage and our team will assist you.

Shipping Delays

CAOS is not liable for delivery delays incurred by the shipping company, and cannot be held responsible in the event the item/order is to go missing in transit. CAOS use a 3rd party company for transport, hence the below steps will be followed in the case of a failed delivery, missing item/s, incorrect delivery address, or other shipping issue which is a fault of the 3rd party service:

  1. CAOS will contact the specified courier company and investigate the situation.
  2. Once the product is deemed missing, lost, or destroyed. CAOS (at their discretion) will offer a replacement order or other compensation.
  3. CAOS will NOT refund or exchange the order/missing item until the item/s or order is labelled missing, lost or destroyed.

Assessment Process

If your product is assessed as having a minor fault it may be repaired and returned to you within a reasonable time frame. If the product is deemed to have a major flaw we will offer you a replacement, refund or store credit.

If your product has been assessed after you have changed your mind and is not in original condition, CAOS assumes the right to reject a return for change of mind.


Restocking Fees

If we agree to refund your purchase for any reason other than faulty product/s, you may be charged a restocking fee to cover our reasonable costs to process the refund, inspect the item/s and return them into inventory. The restocking fee will be $20.00 or 15% of the total price of your order (whichever is the greater) and will be deducted from any refund paid to you.

Are any products excluded from our Returns and Refund Policy?

In some cases, a refund, replacement, Warranty claim or repair may not be offered or possible if:

  • Your product has been modified
  • There is evidence that your product/s use and care fails to meet the products specification
  • The product is not in original condition


General Terms and Conditions:

  • Refund monies will not be paid before the product/s has been received and checked by our team.
  • Returns can take up to 7 to 10 days to process, we will do our very best to process your refund claim as quickly as possible.
  • All returns must have Proof of purchase supplied at the time of return.
  • Refunds will not include the initial delivery charges
  • Any expenses related to a product/s returned will be paid by you


Australian Consumer Law and your rights?

No products sold in Australia online or from a store are excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. CAOS offers additional benefits and extend warranties to CAOS CREW Members.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
